Los Alamitos Cardiovascular Group is a full service cardiovascular medical practice conveniently located in North Orange County near the junction of the 405 and 605 freeways. We are primarily a referral based group offering everything from one time testing to consultation and follow-up—depending on your needs.

All our physicians are excellent general cardiologists, yet each has his own area of expertise, thereby optimizing our capacity to address your requirements. Dr. Fischer and Dr. Forman are superb interventionalists performing both coronary and peripheral catheter interventions. We have multiple, experienced pacemaker implanters, and are recognized for having one of the largest pacemaker clinics in the area. We perform the full spectrum of stress testing with standard treadmill testing, as well as stress echocardiography, Myoview treadmills, and both dobutamine and adenosine pharmacologic stress tests. Depending on need and time of testing, interpretations are usually completed and results faxed either the same day or within 24 hours.

Additionally, Los Alamitos Cardiovascular offers excellent Echo service complemented by expert interpreters. We aggressively treat hyperlipidemia, hypertension, and other risk factors for cardiovascular disease. A top-notch masters prepared nurse is part of our primary care team; her services and expertise have greatly improved our practice and patient satisfaction.

Los Alamitos Cardiovascular is one of the few local cardiology practices offering EECP for both refractory angina and congestive heart failure. We have been extremely pleased with this modality of therapy and can provide EECP for your patients. All of our patients are closely supervised. On-going, regular communication with the referring physician is standard, and urgent communication requirements are provided when necessary.

Our offices our located on the campus of Los Alamitos Medical Center, however, our physicians are also very active at both Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and Lakewood Regional Medical Center.

We provide a full spectrum of Cardiovascular Services. We have treadmills, EKG machines, Echocardiography, a state-of-the-art nuclear program, on-site X-ray facilities for chest X-ray, extensive pacemaker clinic, brachial ankle index monitoring for peripheral vascular disease, EECP, and an on-site laboratory associated with Quest Diagnostic Laboratory services. We should be able to perform all needed cardiovascular testing for your patient, at one facility, often in one day.

We are aggressively utilizing advanced technology in our record keeping and communications. We utilize voice activated dictation to maintain a complete and legible medical record for each patient. We can thus store, access, and fax information for our patients in a very efficient fashion. Our referring physicians receive timely follow-up letters for each of your patient's visits to our offices.
